Barista Basics
Using a commercial espresso machine this course covers espresso extraction, milk texturing, preparing beverages off the menu, storage of coffee and cleaning, and care and preventative maintenance of machinery. Perfect if you want to get into the coffee industry or if you just want to expand your knowledge of coffee.
To obtain the nationally recognised qualification you will be required to complete an assessment.

Home Barista
Bring your own machine from home or use one of our domestic machines. This course takes you through making a perfect coffee at home including; espresso extraction, milk texturing, making various styles of coffee and care and maintenance of your machine.
Courses are held at our Botany store after hours. Also Saturday morning courses may be held at a new venue early in 2012.
