At Mr Espresso, we are raising the espresso bar! Since 1996, from our heritage of CBD coffee carts, we are proud of our 4 stores which are simple, have a great buzz and are all about giving the everyday person a great coffee.
Our espresso bars believe in HAND MADE espresso and our slow Wood Roasting technique is an old world tradition that creates the unique flavours of the wood flame. Every coffee is aged to ensure optimum flavours and a true coffee experience in its original artisan form.
We are powered by a dedicated team of "beans" that mobilise our vision from bean farmers (those that make our food), to the bean makers (those that pride themselves behind the bar) and even our bean runners (those that wake up at 3:30am to get all supplies in-store ready for the morning rush). Our team just love having fun. We have a great culture, throw huge parties (look out for our upcoming espresso party) and are control freaks when it comes to quality. Just ask any one of our 10,000 weekly bean lovers.

To everyone who loves espresso coffee...who knows this madness we feel towards the bean...join us in this pursuit. Let us all build on those old fashioned values where our promise is freshness, everyone is valued, the truth is spoken and quality can once again influence the world we live in.
Since 1996, Mr Espresso has been making a difference one cup at a time...and these days we are active in our communities giving back where we can like the ME Charity Run (distributing our unsold food to homeless shelters), our Upcoming Bean Foundation and sustainability in our practices. Did you know we recycle our coffee grinds and give it away FREE to be used as great garden compost? Available at all stores.

Our daily pursuit follows the path of "espresso expertise" with our skilled and talented "beanies aiming at mastering the "fickle" nature of the coffee bean day in day out; Our stores offer various coffee blends which make your espresso buds dance. Aside from the meticulously prepared espresso, there is also the baked on site delights such as the scrumptiously delicious muffins; the hand made panini's matched with tantalizing ingredients; and the now famous pasta and soups.

Since 1996, Mr Espresso has grown with a Learning philosophy. Espresso has that amazing characteristic that when served properly takes you to another culinary level – In our world, you simply can’t take a machine and grinder and prepare espresso – The artisan is guided by the scientific framework – For these reasons, we would love to share our knowledge and excitement of espresso with each and every one of our customers.
To appreciate the cup of gold, it is necessary to understand what makes fine espresso! Savour the flavour profiles of the blend you are drinking today and make the distinction with the blend you drink tomorrow! Select different blends at our stores and complement them with the different foods on offer.
By way of education and the right information, eventually, we hope that only the highest standard of espresso coffee will one day be accepted, both for the consumer and the budding barista at home. Whether it be through our Coffee Talk publication or our resourceful library of literature in-stores we urge our customers and friends to gain the knowledge and get excited and passionate about espresso.
